GMA x RMI Low-Emission Chemicals Request for Information (closed)

The Center for Green Market Activation (GMA) and RMI are preparing to run a pilot procurement for scope 3 environmental attributes from low-emission ethylene and ethylene-derived chemicals products as part of its work to develop tools to simplify and scale the uptake of low-emission chemicals. This pilot procurement will be the first in a series of initiatives to aggregate demand from member companies – ambitious scope 3 chemical buyers – and will generate an economic incentive for suppliers to accelerate the deployment of decarbonization technologies in the chemicals sector.

This RFI will be used to profile the spectrum of available low-emission ethylene solutions in the market and identify providers who can engage with our buyers to enable offtakes in the next 12-18 months.

The deadline for responses was December 19, 2025.
